Client Relations & Social Media Representative — Full Time

Remote – San Antonio, TX Preferred


Who we are:

Sanders\Wingo is an independent creative advertising agency that uses cultural fluency to inspire results. We work on African American, Latino and general market campaigns across a variety of categories. A significant amount of our work for this position will be on clients based out of El Paso.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who’s obsessed with ideas that change the game for brands who make change. Using your experience in both account service and social media, we are looking for a change maker who synthesizes problems and produces answers for our clients with excellent communication and strategy.

Who You Are:

What you do:

Sometimes you get to fight for your opinions, sometimes you get to fight for the teams, because you want to make the work the best it can be. You will navigate multiple projects, deadlines, people and personalities without sacrificing quality of work or character.


What we need:

This is a new hybrid role within the Agency that will have you at the front of our most interesting projects.  As a Client Relations & Social Media Rep, you “run” the day-to-day operations of an allocated area of business/projects and seek additional growth opportunities for the business and team.  At the same time, we expect experience in developing social media campaigns. This dual-star will implement social media KPIs and KRAs in order to measure and prove the success or our client’s campaigns in a reliable manner.  Occasional travel to Laredo, TX will be required.

What You Bring to the table:

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing (Digital/Internet), or Communication preferred


  • Minimum of 4+ years work experience in an agency setting with exposure to clients and social media


  • Advertising agency experience, preferably in a multicultural consumer segment 


Responsibilities – Client Relations

  • Manage client expectations with the ability to recognize critical issues and resolve them.


  • Provide strong leadership, strategic insight, and proactive solutions (internal and external). 


  • Manage workflow, analytics, project tracking, timelines, and budgeting.


  • Fiscally responsible for all allocated initiatives.


  • Provide growth and leadership for allocated Account Coordinator(s). 


  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, personable, thick-skinned 


  • Possess a go-getter positive attitude and the ability to articulate written/verbal communications clearly.  


  • Other duties as assigned


Responsibilities – Social Media

  • Analyze client expectations according to past social media activity


  • Develop social media campaigns


  • Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns


  • Update social media content across all channels


  • Engage with clients, customers, and followers


  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite


  • Monitor campaigns and analyze data obtained


  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics


  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network


  • Develop content or potentially work with content developers


  • Stay up to date and in the know regarding social media trends


  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers


  • Other duties as assigned

Competencies

  • Relationship management with key client contacts and multiple agencies/vendors. 


  • Proactive strategic thinker with experience in brand marketing, consumer product, research and client reporting functions. 


  • Video and Digital Broadcast Production Experience/Exposure and Digital Analytics preferred


  • Expertise in broadcast (Spot TV and Radio), project management, production process, testing, and reporting. Sponsorship, digital and print experience is a big plus.


  • Management of monthly, quarterly and annual account financial management/reporting/billing. 


  • Excellent oral communication as well as presentation and writing skills (both long-form and PowerPoint).


  • Ability to supervise and mentor coordinator-level staff and increase overall team productivity/morale.


  • Experience in creating Social Media Strategies


  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.


  • Craft engaging content
