COPYWRITER

Position Location: Remote / TX Preferred
Job Summary
The creative department is the heart of our agency. We believe in big thinkers that deliver big ideas for every project. As a full-time copywriter, you’ll be responsible for a large part of the project’s idea generation. Working on projects big and small you’ll be supported by a great team of creatives, but asked to master the art of managing your workload. You have a thirst to do great work that works, the talent to make it sing and the work ethic to see it through. At your core, you’re passionate about your industry, your agency, you're a good listener and willing to take and give feedback.
Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, fine arts, advertising or related discipline
• Two or more years of copywriting experience inside an Advertising agency preferred
• Experience in the Multicultural or African American segment is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
• Seamlessly work with art directors, designers and other team members
• Experienced at fully developing finished, cohesive campaign copy across all media: broadcast, out-of-home, digital/interactive, web and social
• Strong conceptual skills with an ability to write in the voice of established brand standards and client guidelines
• Driven to create best-in-class work that cuts through and reaches an audience no matter
where they are or what format the creative takes (Social, Digital, Print, TV, Video, Identity)
• Ability to balance your workload and consistently deliver smart thinking and copy under timeframes
• Ability to look at things through a business lens as well as a communication lens, ultimately solving for the client's bottom line
• Strong presentation skills and strategic – big-picture thinker
• Ability to absorb internal and client feedback and think creatively when tailoring your copy
• Ability to work with a collaborative, positive, inspiring, productive and creative team
• Fluency in English and Spanish is an essential function of this role to effectively communicate with Spanish speaking clients and translate advertising/copy materials

Media Administrative Assistant: Part-Time

Position Location: El Paso, TX
Job Summary
The Media Administrative Assistant supports the Media Team by managing schedules, tracking media advertising budget, assisting with billing, social media and coordinates campaign materials and media assets. Overall, this individual maintains media schedules across digital and traditional platforms, handles client communication, and assists with billing and reporting, requiring proficiency in social media.
Responsibilities
• Media and Traffic Management: coordinate ad placements, manage insertion orders and ensure advertising materials are delivered to media outlets on time. Traffic instruction for tv, radio, print and outdoor, proof of performance.
• Campaign assistance: support campaign development through research, basic content creation, social media scheduling and monitoring performance metrics. Meta check ins, review messages, answer comments, hide and/or respond to negative comments, keep schedule of posts.
• Budget and Billing Tracking: Maintain records of advertising expenses, coordinate with vendors, and prepare billing documents. Organize all client billing spreadsheets monthly. Reach out to vendors for invoices and proof of performance. Audit for all monthly recaps.

Experience and Competencies
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business preferred
• One year of related experience to the statement of responsibilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Highly accurate and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and simple math skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to articulate clearly in a professional manner via verbal and written communication
• Understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow; can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resources
Compensation: $15.00 per hour (20 to 25 hours per week)
