Counter Culture is the home of our S\W street-research team. It’s where we roll up our sleeves, hit the ground and investigate the cultures that live around us. Our goal is to talk to folks about their current state of affairs — what matters to them and what makes them tick. We’ll share and discuss our findings and try to figure out what it all means. This is real talk, served up hot and fresh.
In the first of our series, we’ll be talking to young adults, the pulse beneath the city’s surface. We want to talk to them about a very adult topic — money. With more than 50,000 University of Texas students right in our backyard, it seems like a natural place to get the ball rolling. What do they think about it? What’s their connection to it? This is the time in their lives when they learn about what it takes to make it in this world. We’ll dig deep to understand the financial thoughts of this unique subculture. Perhaps they’ll reflect a broader trend.
